Has anybody built a subwoofer with an LE8 (or two?).
I have serious space constraints and a couple of LE8s lying around. Also some PR8s...
Thanks,
Ken

Well, it was fun trying various approaches with LE8T in BB6P, but I can't get you anything useful below 28 Hz without running out of cone displacement, even using dual drivers.
Passive radiators are the worst alignment among those I tried; the steep cutoff kills the bottom end.
I kinda like what single-tuned TCB (triple-chamber bandpass) does, tho, if you can stay under 17 Watts, and 102 dB SPL is enough. ;)
Box is about 3.5 cuft.
You can put 30 Watts in and get ~5 dB more output with a smaller 2.5 cuft. triple-chamber box, but it won't play as low (bottom).
