Found L26 Port & Length But?

Hi all, new member.:blink:

I have found the port length & diameter for L26 being 2.875" diameter x 9" long with right angle. But I dont understand the referral to "right angle" does this mean the port has a right angle in it at some point, or does it refer to its location? forgive my ignorance if this is blatently obvious to others but as the saying goes "you dont know if you dont ask".

As the cabinet is only ~13" deep, I would expect that this would mean a
90 deg. bend in the port. There are a number of other JBL products,
both pro and home, that use a bent port.

Thanks very much for the info, will have to do some research now on where along the 9" port the bend occurs & which direction it ends up.

It is unscientific. THe bend can be anywhere. The bend is there to keep the opening of the port away from the driver and the cab walls. You could use a 90 degree elbow.
As long as youhave 3 inches of space between the port opening and the cab walls you don't even need a bend.
