Hi Folks, I'm hoping my post is in an appropriate section of this forum.
I have questions of you folks who have experience in this, to ask what procedures you have used with success to refinish stock JBL Walnut Veneered Cabinets like on the old Vintage L-Series? (ie L65 L100 L200 L300 etc)
I'm speaking of the typical light scratches, water marks, small dings, chips? What techniques, products should be used? Fine sanding, Steel Wool, Irons with damp Clothes, etc?
Then after these procedures have been gone through, then what does one use to restore the luster to an original factory-like sheen?
I know that perhaps some would say "Don't touch them"!, and perhaps just use some Old English Dark furniture polish, and to not harm them in any other way, but still, I would imagine there have been some, who've decided to tackle such a project, and would like to garner opionions, and techniques in that a fine vintage JBL speaker such as this would not be ruined, or it's value comprimised in any way.
I deeply appreciate all your help, and thoughts, mark
