    WOW!!!

I truly mean this with all sincerity, if I had not been laid off two weeks ago, I swear the 9800's would have been ordered the second I saw this post. Alas, my "upgrade" money is now "pay the mortgage" money until I'm working again. But this is a major value (at least I think it is -- don't know if there is a street price for these.) It would be phenomenal if someone here might just be able to score them.

I just tried to add (2) of the 9800s to my shopping cart, it appears they only have (1) unit.

    Figures.

    I could add (2) 5800s.

But the 880 Array center is just a little more $$ than the 800 Arrays, you could still have a dang fine L-C-R HT setup.

I was just able to put two 9800SE's in my shopping cart. All the credit card information is entered and I'm fighting with myself over whether to push the "send" button. So...much...money

If I just didn't spend a good chunk of change on amps I would have pulled the trigger. Some people will get a great deal....if they do, in fact, survive the trip home.

I couldn't do it. I kept imagining telling my wife, "...but you don't understand... $11,000 was such a great deal!" And I've never actually had a chance to hear them, although I'm sure they're amazing".

It's good that she keeps your priorities straight.

Know what you mean, though. I would have faced the same dilemma ten years ago.

    800 Arrays

Those 800 Arrays are tempting. Does anyone have experiences they would like to share?
