A lot of people don't know that the "Go Now" album by the Moody Blues that you purchased (their first album) features Denny Laine from Wings and is a pre-Justin Hayward Moody Blues album. Justin joined for their next LP--they got him from a classified ad (what luck--getting Justin Hayward from a classified ad)!

    Moodies

I checked out this 2 CD import

it was rather an eye (ear ?) opener ...thot I knew the MB's ....but there is a lot of tracks that were new to me and different than what was expected.

Laine -- Fly me high / J. Hayward (2:50) -- Love and beauty / M. Pinder (2:22) -- Nights in white satin (4:22) ; Cities (2:21) ; Tuesday afternoon (4:48) ; Voices in the sky (3:26) / J. Yes - Yessongs
    (1973, Atlantic)

an old favorite. The transition from Opening (excerpt from "Firebird Suite") to Siberian Khatru on Volume I/Side 1 still raises the hair on the back of the neck. I'd go back to see a show from that 1972 tour if I could time-travel.
