First thing that popped into my head was "Aquarius". And didn't those turn out well?
Kinda remind me of the KEF Blade and some other KEF, shape-wise. The KEFs don't have nearly as many drivers.
That looks awesome. Technology marches on. I have always wanted to go to A CES event.
Someday.....

You are correct.
How Do I Attend CES 2016?
The conference is a trade-only show, meaning that the general public is not invited. If you don’t have any business interest the consumer technology industry, it’s unlikely that you’d be allowed to register for the show. If you DO have a business interest in the show, you can register under one of three names: Attendee, Media, Delegation Leader or Exhibitor. Each type of attendee will have different reasons for going and you can get more information from the CES Registration website.

I believe for a few years starting around 2005 they did allow the general public to buy tickets and attend, but from the quote above I guess they've stopped doing that.
One of the few curses of working in the consumer audio industry was that I had to attend every CES from 1978 through 2002, including the summer shows in Chicago (until they ended those after 1996). Don't get me wrong — the first couple of shows were great fun (I was there voluntarily because I was an extreme audiophile and was dying to see all the new toys), but when you must attend because you're employed by an exhibitor (which I started in 1981) it's damn hard work. Hauling heavy stuff and setting it up before the show begins, wiring displays and fixing shit that doesn't work. It was exactly like being a roadie in a rock band, but with better food (and fewer women). Then during showtime I had to don a suit & tie and perform in the booth demonstrating products (or entertain my dealers during the years I was a sales rep). I became totally burnt-out on it during the late 90s.
When Kenwood wanted to cut their attendees list for the 2003 show I was the first to volunteer not to go. But if you're into the audio hobby (OK, audio passion), CES is like Christmas and Disneyland all rolled-up in one.
I agree I went from 1979 to 2013, it was great for the first few years but it got old real fast. Most people I knew when told I was going to CES in Las Vegas/Chicago couldn't believe how lucky I was. Las Vegas WOW!!! CES even better!!!!I would have been more than happy to trade places with anyone. Yes I saw some very cool stuff over the years and represented many good companies and later years once they moved the audio exhibits to easier exhibit halls to get to found the audio exhibits were fantastic.
As soon as I had the chance to not go and hang out with 150000 people I was done...Is it worth going, yes, I highly recommend it as long as you are not working and going to enjoy the new technology....
