May be Yuichi A-290S

The Bi-radial 2380 and all other modern JBL horns need equalization to achieve some semblance of a flat frequency response... this is by design so that the JBLs can offer very controlled directivity with similar on and off axis response. The older style exponential, radial, and hyperbolic horns do not preform this way... what I am getting at is that you can't just swap one for the other if you are after a high performance system.

For home duty, perhaps you could find some Emilar 500. They usually go for well under $100 a pair, except on eBay where they have that special version made from a special casting with a very high content of specially formulated greed that is worth $800.00

You could aslo get some JBL 2397. I was about to suggest some 2350, but those are long throw.
I paid $100 ea for mine a couple of years ago and haven't seen a pair cheaper since. I don't know of anybody using them, but if I could usually find them for well under $100 a pair, I'd be listing them like mad on eBay.
That guy had two sets for $60 per set. I was too lazy to buy them.

I have seen many sets for under $100.00
Yeah, I do remember seeing those come to think of it, but I've never used CAM.
Have you ever used a pair?
What about autotech horns, anyone use them? I'll keep an eye out for some emilar e500 horns.
Nick
It seems these Polish horns have had good reviews. A member here and others on AVS forum ordered them. There's a review of the Iwata 300 on the forum.

I'm going to buy some horns from them. Probably got to buy some pa horns to start with. Maybe the emilar or a gauss 4140.
Still would like to build my own wood ones some day.
