    JBL SA-600 spareparts

    Hello JBL SA-600 owners,

Since the restoration of my JBL SA-600 i get requests from all over the world for technical support.
I have discussed this matter with my fellow-technician Mr.Ruud Janssen and he decided to make a list of a of the parts he replaced to restore the JBL SA-600 amplifier.
The official JBL plan only mentions JBL factorynumbers.

Anyone who wants to receive this list list can drop me a line.

    Kind regards,

    Jan Slagman
    Holland.

    I just checked Jan's profile "Last Activity - 04-27-2011 11:16 AM"

That means his last visit to the site was a couple months back -
so he may not notice your direct post - if you want a quicker response,
its best for you to send him a PM directly to get a copy of the schematic!

    Jbl sa-600

    Hello,

A fellow member named Isak Johannessen from Norway asked me for a JBL SA600 parts list by mail, but everytime i try to answer his mail i become this answer in the Norwegian language:
Leveringen mislyktes til disse mottakerne eller distribusjonslistene:

Can anyone tell me how to reach this Norwegian member ?

    With kind regards,

    Jan Slagman

" Delivery failed to these recipients or distribution lists"

Does he work at VintageAudio? If so, he is on Facebook or at [email protected]

JBL SA-600 or rather 660 spareparts

I thank you for offering to send the parts list.
    I like to receive it.

Vriendelijk dank voor het aanbieden van de Onderdeel lijst van de SA-600.
Ik zou deze graag ontvangen. (Ik heb een SA-660, maar wellicht zijn veel onderdelen identiek)

    Hartelijke groet,
    Best Regards,

There are more transistors which can be used as long as you use low noise types and the Vce0 isn't lower than 30 Volts. Ofcourse the pinconfiguration has to be suitable or you have to make it suitable by twisting the connections

    Hello Jan,

If you're still out there, I have just one question.

The Pilot Lamp...... Did you replace yours or did you keep the original?
The reason I ask, is because mine has just blown.
Now, according to the schematics parts list, it should be a GE 1820 (28V), but the one pulled from mine is a GE 1835 (55V).
Using an incandescent at half power is what I think gave it a distinct orange glow, which suited the amp, having orange behind the switches like it does.
You'd think that these little lamps would be easy to come by down here in Australia, but they're not....
Anyway, may have to get them online ex-US, so I'm hoping I'm getting the right one.

    George.
