Hello. I ever gone there and heard the great sounds.
The ribbon tweeters were over 6 units and taken around speaker system.

I own four JDF HQS3200UPM power amplifier, and two Rey Audio RM7V, KM1V speaker systems.

Lucky man !! Is this auditorium still playing music ?
I wish you could share some pictures of your set up. The RM7v are just one of my dream system. The only Kinoshita I listen to were WARP...

I own myself four JDF HQS2400 and HQS2100, and I just purchase JMF-Audio electronics. I really enjoy these amplifiers

    Dear sir

Unfortunately, the "Magical Super Studio" (at Aoyama Japan, near JVC Aoyama studio) was already closed over 10 years ago.
But you can hear and see all of Shozo Kinoshita (my friend) at Hakone Japan.

I've been fretting over building some stands for my loudspeakers and I think I just found the solution. Thanks for posting the picture.

    Hello,
What is the specifications for the RX-21 crossover used with the Kinoshita RM7V speakers?
Is it possible to repair them when the capacitors is old?

Thanks, I agree they sounds very good. As I understand the TAD 4001 drivers used in the RM7V was developed by Bart Locanthi especially for the Kinoshita/TAD horns. The horns has an even response distribution over its pattern which is unusual.

    Lightbulb Rx-21a

The crossover frequency is 425Hz. It will be impossible exchange only capacitors, you need also exchange choke coils & base board.
So Kinoshita will say that you should exchange RX-21 to RX-21A whole unit.

    Lightbulb Bart Locanthi

He is a great engineer of electronics & speakers.
The relation of Locanthi & Shozo Kinoshita is told in this web.
    http://www.reyaudio.com/history-e.html
TAD TD-4001 is developed by Pioneer company when Kinoshita is employed.
Locanthi was a teacher in LS project of Pioneer, and Kinoshita was a leader of this project.
TAD speaker units were produced by this project.

    Yours look better than mine.

Mine look like I went to home depot, bought some 4x4, cut it all up and then connected it all together with 1-1/4" dowels...
