    Do these badges look correct?

I am going to mate these with a pair of C38 cabinets I picked up via AK's pony express. These have no pin and I immediately thought repo's but I figure for a modified pair of speakers (still have mostly JBL in them ), what the heck. Complete the illusion.

I don't remember the JBL badges having black filling during the time we used them.

I had an original pair, and yours LOOK correct, but I'd bet money that they are
repros...originals are always pitted , they don't age well.

The rectangular logos (black and silver) had black fill, but I don't remember those pictured above as ever having black fill - at least, not during the 50's and 60's.

can't remember for sure, but mine may have been copper (or brass ??)

I suspect it's the reproducer's attempt to mimic the tarnish that appeared on the original ones in those spots that weren't machined.
