I need not worry about dates here, these are VINTAGE speakers and its OK !!!
My JBL 4311WB speakers have sat in the attic for the last 25 years with a busted
mid and tweet. I bought a soldering iron and guess what the internet allowed me
to do after all these years.........FIX my speakers and now they started working
and Im playing Jethro Tull Benefit and loving it !!!!!!!! Scorpions are alive again!
I thought they were 4311B's for years and years and when I just looked at em,
I couldnt believe they were WB (11644 and 11645 serial numbers).
I have no idea what magnets or any info, but I would like some advice as
to what amp I need to make this work at an ok sound????
I was going to buy a new PYLE 240 watt amp but the freq response is
not good and its rated in peak watts, not rms so its really not 120 per
channel watts. DO I need 100 per channel or would 40 be ok ????
I see a Onkyo 60 watt per ch for 40 bucks on craigslist........what is best for
the speakers????? Thanks for info (im so happy to have them working again)!!!
