Well, my "spare" FL changer died, so if the changer is available (and if it does HDCD like my old one did) I'd be interested in it ...
So, are you setting up a surround system with L5s?

Want to sell as a unit. $150 or best offer.
I told him if he didn't like them I'd buy the L5s for the total price and he could pawn the rest of the stuff!

I think he's psyched about becoming a hi-fi guy. I'm hoping his wife won't like them and I'll get them to pass along. When he asked why I'd want them if I already had the L5 and L7s, I knew he didn't understand! The first step was to steal them from the owner. Looks like "mission accomplished" on that front, hopefully. I'll let you know.

He picked the stuff up yesterday! Photographic evidence suggests the L5s are only slightly smaller than my youngest nephew. No report yet on whether they stay or come to me.

I'm supposed to have that tweet (026Ti) on its way to me via E-Bay, but if that doesn't get here in working condition I'd certainly be interested in yours. I'll be in touch.

Ah, don't worry about them. Sometimes dry wit, hilarious to one, may offend another. Try to see their sarcasm as humor - something must make them smile!

    Let the safari continue...

I am just amazed at all the really cool gear you run across in your travels!
And not a small bit envious! How do you decide which gear moves you?

condition, build quality, brand (mid-fi or above), price, resale value etc ....I take a pass on abt 95% of possible buys, but still get burned from time to time ...Pioneer/Marantz receivers prior to 1990 just had super build quality and many are still chugging along ..(with burned out bulbs) ...most decent quality tt's are hot right now.

afraid to walk into my storage areas amymore....

(that Technics tt just disappeared too... )

    Hey, SeaWolf,

I agree with Bo on this one! This is a really fun thread, and one in which we can all share, vicariously, your good fortune, and blessed luck, in finding all this great stuff!!! Long may your successes continue, and most definitely, please keep sharing them with us!! Well done! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
Doc (who has your very same "touch", only it's in finding rare and hard to find backpacking/expedition stoves!)
The only thing that can never be taken away from you, is your honor. Cherish it, in yourself, and in others.

I always figured those were the update of the little Corona's. They were my first separately purchased cabinets. They ended-up quasi-mounted into the "back-in-the-back" of my Torino 1972 station wagon. I wish I'd have known of the 4301B's. FAR superior...
