another L-100 crossover

I just noticed that a crossover upgrade kit for the L-100 is now for sale. The price is $250. Although I'm not selling anything, the parts for the design I previously posted here cost about half that.

Designed by Troels Gravensen (sponsored by a Danish electronic parts manufacturer), he discusses the now familiar problems of the vented cabinet that is too small for the 123A woofer (no mention of Zilchplugs!), the large variability among different LE5-2 midrange drivers, and of course the non-standard driver polarity.

His crossover appears, at first glance, to be somewhat different than what I posted previously. It does seem to present a solution for the apparent great variability among LE5-2 midrange drivers.

Any comments?

Lots of familiar curves there....

He does show the closed-box curve, but only with 0% fill, alas.

Unless I missed it, he's not telling us the component values.

If $250 is for a PAIR of crossover part sets, it's a fair price.

This is about the fifth or sixth iteration of L100 redesign I've seen.

How come people can't just leave well-enough alone?

Still needs ZilchPlugz. TL is too hard. Use 3 cuft closed box.
