Dude, sorry, but you don't have your birthday in your profile.
Anyway, hope you had a good day, even though it was rainy.
Happy Birthday. Man, that is one beautiful automobile ya got there.
Todd,
you are not forgotten, I've read quite a few postings of yours.
But sometimes even a central station is (nearly) empty, and then the crowd is back!

Happy B-Day Mr. Todd. Nice toy you have there. Post some pics of the engine compartment if you would. Since you have the FI flags on the fender did you go retro, or current technology? Also nice addition with the 67 hood that is my favorite Vette hood of all time.

They are not "fuelie flags" as all mid-years ('63-'67) had them. Fuelies ('63-'65) had a FUEL INFECTED emblem.
Fuelies were introduced in '57 and no fuelies were produced after '65 (until the Crossfire system in '82)
Big block hood is necessary to clear the Holley, the high rise manifold, the spacer plate, and 4" air element. I've modified it by adding the hood prop to the other side (big blocks and small blocks are opposite), cutting out the internal fiberglass block off, and grinding out the metal insert in the chrome trim to make it functional.
I also had the mechanic remove the 4-speed and replace it with a 5-speed with a 0.63 overdrive which will be much nicer cruising on the freeway with the 3.70 rear end (used to be 4.11s!). Should reduce my freeway RPM from about 3,600 to 2,250 which, coupled with the new insulation I had put under the custom carpet, should quiet down the interior considerably so..., just maybe I could even hear the JBLs with the engine running.
I do have JBL 8" 3-WAYS mounted in the back and a 4-channel JBL amp under the passenger seat!
