    2406H, 2406H-1, 2407H, 2407J

No more 2402, 2404, or 2405 UHF drivers listed:

    http://www.jblproservice.com/pdf/Tra...cer%20List.pdf

2404H-1 still available from parts for $300 apiece.

So, it's use the newer re-entrant polyester (mylar) diaphragm 2406 (ferrite) or 2407 (neodymium) compression drivers instead.

These are 1" thread-on drivers which must be mated with a suitable horn/waveguide.

    I've explored JBL's offerings here:

    http://audioheritage.org/vbulletin/s...5&postcount=52

And the DDS Engebreston waveguide here:

    See also:

    That's the $9.90 PT-F95 1" waveguide, I believe, #338800-001

Please post any other potentially suitable horns/waveguides in this thread, and any experience and/or test results for them for the benefit of forum members seeking UHF enhancement using 2406/2407 or similar UHF drivers....

The 2406 is to be phased out.

'Any idea if the 2407 and any of the appropriate horns are planned for the "Components" brochure pages at JBL, to replace the 2402, 4, and 5, or will they just leave those for production cabinets?
