Giskard, what are thoughts on the L110? I have a chance to get a pair shipped to me for $300. Would it be better just to wait for a set of L96's?

The moderators will simply have to move it. No big deal. That's what they are paid to do.

I like it. But it's old. The key to thoroughly enjoying the L110 is to love it right from the start and never A/B it with anything newer. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that strategy.

    I would.

I read through some of your old posts regarding the L96, it looks like building a modified 3113B network looks like the best way to get some great performance out of the L96's. Will the 066 tweeters be a worthwhile upgrade vs. the 044's?

Personal choice. The 044 is more robust and less prone to physical damage. I think you'll find that an 035Ti will sound better than either, especially if you damp it a bit. It's also cheaper and still serviceable.

I'm merely throwing these considerations out here for people to think about.

    My one-of-a-kind 110Ti's consist of the LE10H, 104H, and 044Ti.
    Try it, it's 8 screws.

This thread should be moved to DIY moderators.
I tried to replace the 128H woofers from my L112 with the 2213H woofers from an old 4312. sound was awful. The 4312 woofers need a 500liter cabinet to loose the 65Hz peak - in my L112 is the port very short, the 65 Hz peak is extrem. A lot of e-bayer offer their L112 with the wrong ( 2213H ) tweeter. The 2213H tweeter in the L100 cabinet is not good, but not so extrem like using in L112.
