    K145 vs K140

I'm interested in hearing what the sonic differences are between the KBL K145 and the K140.
I have several K140s and use them for electric bass systems. I'm wondering if the K145 would change or improve the performance compared to the K140. I may want to use these in combination in a small PA bass cabinets.
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hey, Rob...

I can't know the answer to your question, but did last night get another (all too rare...) sampling of the K140. A guest bassman sat-in for rehearsal and uses a K140, in contrast to most others (too many...?) who use lesser challengers, in particular the clustered 10's so popular.

All I can say is I've worked with most brands and configurations, and the K140 is remarkable. Tight, smooth and when plucked-at, it plucks back! Wow. 'course the bassman was a terrific talent himself, but the K140 sure let it show.

    Shucks - I'm in-love... :o
