When I opened up my (otherwise fully operational) 2425js, I noticed that the foam that sits behind the diaphragm has deteriorated and lost its springy-ness. Can anyone tell me whether this is a problem? If so, is it fixable?
Thanks, Will.

Yes, you should soon replace the foam before it completely breaks down & becomes a gooey mess. If it has lost its' resiliency, then it's on it's last legs. Look at this other thread for replacement ideas .
