    DENON mc repair,luxman TT pd264??

    anyone know where i can get a new stylus on my denon MC cartridge??...also i have a luxman pd264 TT im trying to restore but it has a weird arm lift...anyone familiar with this table???...thanks so much for your time...Ed

    Van den Hul will retip it, though it is probably cheaper to buy a new 103D.

    Yeah - I'm familiar with the table. I had one for a few years. It probably just needs a good lube. The little "bent paper clip" arm sensor needs to be very well lubed or it will just make the tonearm skip. I got frustrated with the whole mess and just rotated it out of the way, making it a full manual table. I eventually got fed up with the motor rumble and relatively weak sonic isolation (too much feedback) and sold it. It did have nice tonearm though and if you never listened to music loud it would be tough to beat for the money.
