Hi: the Forum seems to forget the "marked as read" and takes me to already read ones, this is recent; Has anybody had this glitch?

Once you again mark them as "read" under this new functionality, it works better than ever, since it no longer automatically marks threads as "read" unless you've actually read them or specifically mark them that way. 'Way better than the earlier "timeout" method.
