    Question Crossover for 2405H

I am new to this site. I say hello and bear with me. Any ideas for a crossover to use if I want to add a 2405H tweeter to a 4671 (2 way 15" & horn) cabinet?

    3105 (7 kHz) or 3106 (8 kHz).

I prefer a steeper slope at 10KHz for the 2405 ala the 4345 and 4355. You can build a 3 pole filter based on a 10 ohm impedance or copy the UHF section of either of these:

I would agree with Widget in this case, wholeheartedly. Usually, with the two-way JBL-pro setups with horn mid-highs, only some additional "help" above 10KHz is needed. Bringing in the 2405 at that point is a good idea... and also dramatically increases the power handling of the tweeter (diaphragm blow-ups are greatly reduced)...

    Regards,
    Gordon.

IMHO, the 2405 works best from 8K and up, Widgets 10K with a steeper 3rd order filter is on the money.

I would not use 7K as a crossover point for this particular tweeter! You can do it, but I dont like the way it sounds, a bit too rough sounding!

Well, there's a tapped inductor in both of those.

    What's the answer -

    Giskard's equivalent version?
