    044ti Oh baby!!

    Just got my BRAND NEW old stock 044Ti-1's. I now have all of the drivers for converting my L250's into 250Ti's

    044Ti-1 means the threads are supposed to be drilled out for rear mounting in a 250Ti.

    I suspect they are from the last of the L250 to 250Ti "upgrade kit" production run.

    The 044Ti takes the cake for sure. Pity JBL does not make that stuff anymore.

    Hmm, I would have guessed around '90 but '86 sounds more like it.

    That is what I thought I was going to have to use. I have a next to new pair of those as well. ( I did not want to have to route out my cabs)

    I will be starting a new thread soon as my L250 cabs are in the middle of being painted black lacquer.

    I have a few pics of the stuff I have done to the cab as well. I also bought the original badges for the 250Ti's from harmon about 3 years agao.

    Also in the thread I will be doing a new external charged coupled network for them. So stay tuned
