    4435 vs Ti 250

I play mostly pop/rock and love punch, dynamics and be able to play loud. There is two pair of speakers for sale at the same price, and I am confused what to go for. Let me tell you that I already have one single B460 subwoofer.
The speakers for sale is Ti250 and 4435. Unfortunately, they are hours and hours drive away from here, one in south and one in norith. So it is impossible to compare them. Therefore I ask for your help to choose.
Go ahead good folks, and give comments about the speakers, and advice what to do.

    Regards
    Leif A

    "Love punch"?

    Leif: "I play mostly pop/rock and love punch . . . ."

I can't say anything informative about either of these speakers, but I am definitely curious about this genre of music.

    Re: 4435 vs Ti 250

What are you using right now with the single B460?
What doesn't your present system do for you?

I have a pair of Infinity alpha 30. Two way floor standing speakers with a 6,5 inch woofer. Price new: about 500 us dollars a pair... It has been used as an emergency solution, after my good old Ti240 was damaged.

Curious about the genre of music? Just regular pop music. Everything from Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Aha, Santana, Gary Moore and stuff like that.

    Where did the 240Ti's go?
Was there anything you didn't like about them?

If I were you I would be inclined to go with the 4435's (I can't imagine you needing the B460 in that case).

The woofers rottened, and needed replacement. That was so costy, and I did not have money for it right then. So I sold the speakers (about 400 US) and bought the Infinities for those money.
Yes, I guess I would live good without a sub to the 4435, but would I benifit still using them? It would save the woofers in the 4435 to go all the way down... Would that not be a benifit?

I am not sure if I understand...
Perhaps I wrote a bit wrong in my question, or perhaps I don`t understand what you mean? My english is far from perfect..

I meant that when I listen to music, I mostly listen to pop and rock. And when it come to what sound I like, then I prefer a system that can play loud, with a good and powerful bass, and that is very dynamic. That is why I need a pair of large speakers. A small bookshelf speaker would never be the right thing for me. Understand what I mean?
And which speakers woudl then be the best for me?

    Thumbs up 15"

    Hi Leif

Take the 4435 speakers if you have the physical room for them. I think you'd only blow up the "Ti250" types which would be tragic.

I think the 4435 would give you what you want. You can try adding in the B460 since you already have it to "augment" the four 2234H's but I can't possibly imagine that it would be necessary.

    Earl, no doubt!

    Your English is just fine

Leif: "Perhaps I wrote a bit wrong in my question . . ."

There's nothing wrong with your English. It's miles ahead of my Norwegian. I just misread your first statement, thinking maybe you were talking about rock versions of "Bolero." (Of course there are actually many.) But that's just me.

I'm ready to relinquish this thread back to your intended purpose.

    The 4435s

I agree with my more knowledgable friends. The 4435s pair would probably be about perfect for the preferences you describe.

What do you mean "I would blow up the 240`s?
You mean I would overload them? LOL, No no no, I don`t play THAT loud!
I have had many many speakers since my first Jubals, and never "killed" any of them. Not yet

Seriously Leif You would probably like the 4435's better in the long run.

Why don't you start a poll? See how many people choose the 250Ti and how many choose the 4435 I think somewhere on this forum there are instructions on how to do a poll.
