The older versions used 2425H compression driver.
Ron
And the original versions used 2421A compression drivers.
I forgot about the 2421 drivers!Originally Posted by Giskard

Hell, it was years before I realized JBL stopped using the 2425H and was putting 2426H's into the 4430/4435! Mine were that old. Actually mine dated back to when JBL was just switching to the 2425H from the 2421A. I had a choice which compression drivers I wanted, it was recommended that I go with the 2421A so I went with the 2425H.
Well maybe you should pull the woofers.? The pair of 4430,s I have got a date code stamped on the 2235,s rear motor
Thanx for the feedback, guys And John, I will check the 2235H for dating.
Maybe also check the crossover for coding on the components?
