    How to delete a post?

I can edit 'em, but can't see how to delete them.

    Smile How to delete

When you hit the "Edit" button, there's a "Delete this Message" area near the top of the page that opens for editing. Inside that box, "Do Not Delete Message" is selected by default. You need to select "Delete,Message" and hit the "Delete This Message" button at the bottom of that box (which is above the "Edit Post" area).

You have the option of giving an explanation for the deletion, but it's not required. Also, remember that the "edit" button only stays on your post for a while, and once it disappears, you cannot edit or delete. Then you'll have to ask a moderator to delete the post for you.
    Out.

"delete" option not available on thread starting post

The two radio button bullets (only one selectable at a time) at the top of the Edit Message page. "Do Not Delete Message" (default) and "Delete Message" don't appear when your message is the start of a thread.

This is correct. If you start a thread you can not delete it. If you do start a thread and want to delete it for some reason you may contact the moderator of that area and they can delete it for you.

BTW: This thread will be moved to the Forum Issues area....
