OK - I found out they're the JBL GHE 1000 V and last sold for $476 each in 1997. They're 10" 3-ways, and have factory wiring/straps for bi-wire setup, if desired. Since the replacement LF is only $80 at Harman parts I'm assuming these are just stamped-frame models. A guy on the San Francisco craigslist is selling a pair for $100, if anyone's interested: http://www.craigslist.org/eby/ele/123477668.html
