    Parallel resistors in 4425 Network

    I went through my crossover design book but couldn't find an explanation for the 2 100 Ohm resistors parallel to the 2214H woofer in the 3124 network.

    Any idea?

    They're used to flatten the impedance of the 2214H. We talked about that in another thread. Maybe it was the "amplifiers are more important than you think" or something like that. The green plot shows the results of the two 100 ohm parallel resistors.

    That diagram is just a run in BassBox 6 Pro Guido.
    Nothing special.
    For example, here's a 2012H in a 0.5 cubic foot sealed enclosure and in "free air":
