    Need some ID Help

    These Mids say LE5-1? and on the cone the numbers 57077-L They were sold as coming out of a set of 4313Bs but I don't think so. Anybody got a clue?

    Looks like an LE5-12

    LE5-9 = edgewound coil, silver frame
    LE5-10 = round wire coil, black frame
    LE5-11 = edgewound coil, black frame
    LE5-12 = round wire coil, silver frame

    Did some research, looks like they are used in the L-112's Thanks. Oh well!

    That's the edgewound? The round wire cone is still available, or had that gone previously?

    I concur with Giskard - my numerous workings with LE5-12's and partially rubbed ID's, they is them.

    And, Hey Don...!
    This here excellent post of Giskard's needs preservation somewhere. As JBL retires lines, we need be tracking it, and avoiding obscurity ourselves ('course that would help them non-Fourmite eBay'ers, too... )

    I'll "report" this post after I post it to get Don's attention.
