Love it -- first post and it is an offer to sell.

    Wow.

Excellent condition with the renowned titanium tweeter. 3' Black tower with grills(no tears) a few minor and fixable marks on cases. Best offer.

so, is that a good or a bad thing? This post seems to be about the L5s and their worth, how hard it is to find them, and how good they are. Right?

    OK, I get it..

I didn't realize there was an area for selling items since I was led to the post from Google so thanks for letting me know so graciously and I will post my ad in the proper area.
Sorry for the intrusion. I take it you're not interested in the speakers?

Ignore Storm - he's usually home during the day and he's bored. Its easier to quote than actually type anything helpful.

There is a Lansing for sale area
    http://audioheritage.org/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=5

    - Just put an ad for your speakers there and someone may be interested.
If you have any pictures of YOUR speakers to post, that can be a big help for folks who may not be familiar with that model.

    Welcome to the site!

    Cut him some slack ...
I agree Heather as his intentions were up front. I see no problem with offering speakers for sale with one post or 100 posts.

I've been a goooood boy and posted my ad in it's correct location. Does anyone have any idea what they are worth assuming good to excellent condition? US.

I paid $250 for mine, a couple of holes in the grilles, came with the platforms, no real marks. Local Craigslist, from what I can tell I had no competition.

Mine seem like they might be in considerably better condition. No platforms. I admit to throwing them away after several "moves" and never really sure why anyone would use them.

A couple of holes isn't a considerable difference, and compared to the missing platforms, moot. New cloth is available all over the place. Platforms?

    No.

In any case, neither here nor there.

Yes, I misspoke when I said "considerable". As far as the platforms, still glad I threw them away since I think they look like sh... on the towers. I don't use the grills either.
Boy, if I had to sell my L5s for $250 I'd burn them out of respect instead.

Be sure to take plenty of pictures or, better yet, video for U-Tube.

Don't get me wrong; I'd love to own a pair of L5s. And they pique my interest in part because they do go so cheaply. Just stash them away until you get bored with the RV.
