    128 basket

    Hi Folks ,

    can someone tell me if a 128 basket can be reconed with 2202 or any jbl mid-bass recone kit suitable for a 4355 clone .

    In looking at the "goes into" repair kit list, I say the answer is no.

    C8R128H or H-1 kit is listed for 128H only.

    C8R2202 kit is listed for 2202A, and 2202H.

    I think the 2202 and 128 are different bacause of the depth from surround to the spider.

    Please, someone else chime in and help answer this query!

    I have 2 2202's ( used) that I was going to do a project with, but the project never got off the ground.
