If I ever get too complacent about what kind of power a full-size JBL puts out, I only need to forget to set the volume properly when putting a particularly dynamic CD on. I've had the crap scared out of me, more than a few times by the L-300's. The big beasts silently sitting within a couple of feet of me, will suddenly slam full volume, jacking up my heart rate and startling me like nobody's business! On occasion, I've been nearly rocked back on my heels. Not much disimiliar than going to an NHRA event and standing in the pits while they run Top Fuel or Funny Car. Must remember to check CD level and volume, must remember...
