    JBL L-300

    i am in Pakistan, a person wants to sell his JBL L-300 tome, they are made in the USA and year is aprox 1975. how much should i pay in US $. visual condition is medium, woofer cones are repaired from borders, sound is good. ANY BODY PLS ADVISE

    A pair of 'fair' condition L-300's starts at about $1,200 US. A good condition pair (very minimal cabinet wear and good grills will bring up prices to the $2,000 range. A pair of mint L-300's with the surrounds on the woofers done, the LE-85 diaphragms replaced and excellent grills can bring up to $4,000.

    If you like music, you will love these speakers. Make sure you have a powerful enough amplifier to drive them at least 160 watts per channel. A smaller amp can easily damage a big speaker like this by clipping the signal as it's being overdriven.
