    LE14A DCR Difference

Just removed the (2) LE14As from my S99s to check their DCR. Nearly a 2-ohm difference between them, (A) close to 8 & (B) @ 6. The cone on (B) however is also clearly forward from the rest position indicating that it may have been stored facedown.

If the voice-coil is partially out of the gap, would it show a DCR difference like this?

    Hi

    - Le14a(s') DCR ( healthy ) range was given ( in 1982 ) as 5.9 to 7.1 ohms .

    - The longer coiled version found in the le14H-1 was 5.7 to 6.9 ohms .

I guess I won't worry about it then.
