This question strikes pretty close to home.

Absolutely, the D-130 can be used for a home hi-fi application.

But, you will need a high frequency driver.

The D-130’s extended range will not go all the way to 20,000 Hz.

So, team it up with a 075 ring radiator (a.k.a. Bullet driver) and a N2400 dividing network.

Search the Lansing Heritage JBL Library for Catalogs and Plans.

There is ton’s of good information.

The link to this page sure changed my life for the better.

    Good luck with your project.
