    YUP!

Those are the pictures of the same speakers as the ones that went for 2700!

And yes, THEY are watching this forum! Thats how they get the idea of what vintage JBL might fetch, pricewise!

OTOH, maybe the seller is representing more than one pair of speakers the same way! You never know with Ebay!

Dog posted it this morning on it's original thread and if you read the auction blurb, the seller said the buyer bailed.

Any guesses where they will end up this time?

Well, I suppose the buyer came to his senses.

So, the mother of all Jubal's have been relisted. Any guesses to what they will sell for this time?

Me says in the $1,350 range. Anyone else care to chime in?

I never read the auction blurb! If the buyer bailed he can offer them again!

As the leading chump of the L65s (Yes I like them) I say they sell for under one thousand. You see the last person to buy a pair for over $1K is one and the same who bought this pair previously for $2700. For $1K it's hard to find another speaker to keep up with it (B&W 604) but after that your into an area where the world opens up a bit. I still remember the first time I fired up a pair of Jubals though.......I just bought a Pioneer SX-1250 from CMC stereo and replaced some L36s with the Jubals. Put "Stone Cold Sober" By Crawler and Crapped my pants. I haven't felt that way since I heard JBLDogs 4343s or the 4333s I had. But alas I digress. The L-65s in great shape may be worth $1000, but I's rather have a pair of 4313Bs on stands. Now a set of five for HT......that would be nice. I wish I could find a copy of the above mentioned tune just to reference my hearing!

Out of curiosity I contacted the seller, he told me the winner "made a mistake" and the 2nd and 3rd bidders would not answer emails. The heat of the bidding! My Hi Low is 900 to 1100.
