    L300 Grill Cloth Measurements

I'm planning on replacing the grill cloth on a pair of L300 (original/aged "camel" color) with new JBL "blue" that I purchased from Zilch. Could a L300 owner help me out with some measurements of their L300 grill cloth? I have 2 yards of Zilches JBL "blue" grill cloth and want to make sure that will be sufficent to recover the L300 grills.

    Grills

    I would say each one requires a piece 32 x 39
The grills are 29 x 22 and almost 4 inches thick and wrap around the back another inch.

    L300 Grill Cloth Measurements

Ken thanks for measuring the grills, the two yards I got from Zilch will be more than enough with some leftover for a pair of L19.

    How do you do it?

I too am looking at replacing the cloth on my L300's but I'm afraid of a poor installation of new grill cloth looking worse than old "originally installed correctly" cloth! What's the secret to doing it correctly? I'd prefer to avoid a "DOOOOOHHHHH".

    thanks

    L300 Grill Cloth Replacement

Likeit Loud if you do a search re installing grill cloth look for a posting by Steve Gonzales which was excellent. Unfortunately the photos were deleted when the LH system was upgraded. A couple other members have also contributed suggestions and with patience yours will come out as good as the factory.
