How to remove JBL from sides of JBL 4312 A

Since a month i owe a pair of JBL 4312 A Control Monitors and i presume they have the professional design for JBL was printed in white characters on the left and right side of the speakers. I think this looks very nice when used in a studio, but i want to use the monitors in my living room with oak furniture. Can anyone tell me how to remove the characters JBL without damaging the black synthetic material.

Would it stick to the laminate?

I have a pair of 4645Cs that I had planned to attach 3/4" oak veneered plywood to all sides and use 1 1/2" solid oak trim on the front edges. The extra damping could only help damp the boxes.

We have many cabinet experts on board that would be glad to advise you.

Use 3M 77 spray adhedsive, it will hold anything. The 3/4 oak might be too heavy. If you 45 the edges you could use biscuit joints to connect them together.
