    D8R033 in a 066 tweeter

    hi everyone does anyone know if i can sub a D8R033 for a D8R066 i know the 033 is black and the 066 is silver , i am going to check the electronic end for compare but from what i can see it looks like it will interchange so if i do the vapor deposit of aluminium coating to look appropriate will it work as the 066 diaphragm would please any info would be greatly appretiated . thank you

    I am VERY curious could you take a minute and explain how you are going to do the aluminium vapor deposite

    You are best off using a small modelers spray rig or a modelers paint brush.
