    Question L220 woofer recone help

Does anyone out there know where I might purchase a pair of LE14A white Aquaplas recone kits. I called JBL with - results. Should I try Harman-Japan next? I am thinking that these are now made of Unobtanium. I would rather not have to recone these with grey cones and compromise the original appearance of my L220's. Thanks, Zipplok

Cover the cost of reconing grey, plus the freight, and we'll swap. I have one grey and one white in mine (L222's, actually), and I wouldn't mind both grey. The white one was professionally refoamed.

Complete performance tests on this particular driver are posted elsewhere in this forum in my thread comparing various flavors of LE14. The grey one proved out to be a LE14H-1 cone, we concluded, and the drivers are thus not the same.

    We're talking LE14H here, right?

    PM me, and we'll talk....
