    2421/2425 compatability

    Have a pair of D8R2421 diaphragms and don't want to crack the seals on a pair of LE85's to use them.

    Will they play in 2425's as well?

    Heya Zilch,

    Hope this helps (see linkee) but it looks like you need to use a D16R2425. The funny part in the link is that the D16R2425 say's that it'll go into the 2421, but the D16R2421 will work in the 2421B. Well, I called someone at the 'source' (no names, don't want to get anybody in trouble here in SoCal) and they indicated if it works one way, then it makes sense that it should go the other way too. Likely the same gap.

    Hi Zilch....

    It'll work just dandy...direct fit. You might like it better due to the fact that it's aluminum.

    More expensive than titanium from JBL now.

    Yup, that's key. I've run outta trashed LE85's to play with, is what....
