    Question BX63

    Hello Jbl Guys,

Now I've finished my BX63 Network doityourself,

but I'm not happy with the Resultat, because when the

Network is In, the Sound is less dynamic and muddy

Maybe the wima capacitors not optimal for Audio?

Are People here, they've also build the Network?

    Thank's for Answers

I don't know about the wima capacitors. I always used Electro-Cap metallized mylars with polystyrenes bypassing the high pass capacitors. These days I would charge couple the high pass section the same way JBL ended up charge coupling the high pass in the DX-1. The values are sufficiently small that I would use the best caps I could find.

How much did the project cost you in parts?
Back when I used to build them they were something like $25.
