A couple of years ago on this very forum I posted that I was giving up SLR camera kits for good and that digital point and shoot cameras met everything I needed in photo gear. Time to eat some crow. In the past two years I have become more and more disillusioned in the high digital noise, exposure and focus errors, and lack of sharpness in my Minolta Dimage 7. This week, I bit the bullet and picked up a Canon Rebel XT and two zoom lenses. Today was their first major workout as I strolled the downtown area through my lunch hour. I'm now a true convert to digital SLR's.
