    Hello everyone!
I'm in Tokyo, Japan. Anybody been here?
Over here, it's relatively easy to find 43xx's, but not 250Ti's or L300's, and certainly not the Performance series. Prices for the vintage stuff are, well, pricey, to say the least! One thing for sure is that no audio store in this country will be caught not having a JBL!

    Cool Hi Steve.

Yes, Japan is a place of great respect for JBL.

In addition to my JBLs, I can't get enough of this guy:

    Arrow Location

Oh yeah, San Pedro is in the Harbor Area of Los Angeles, next to Long Beach.

LA is great for its cultural diversity, climate, and food. It's also great for the presence of Harman International's Northridge facility, home to JBL, Revel, and others. There are used JBL's aplenty in the area, though new dealers are as scarce as the rest of the US. I had to get my Performance Series set up from NY state!

Nathan's hot dogs are great, but I prefer the Vienna Beef dogs from Chicago when I can get them. Both are hard to come by out here.
    Out.

Well. Bodø, Norway is 100km north of the polar circle. I took a quick look at a world map the other day, and found that it is almost as far north as you come in Alaska...

In this part of the world you get used to distances, long distances. Most interesting stuff are far away. E.g. to get my Sovereign's I had to drive 4288km = 2680 miles.

Damn!... I never bothered to look. I guess you are enjoying your long days.

On the topic of this thread, I agree it would be nice if everyone one would post their locations. I am not ashamed of being on the left coast!

I do enjoy the long days. Midnight sun the past month, but it has not been dark since the beginning of may...

It is very necessary with the long days though. After the winter I mean.

Theres yet another brand of Hot Dogs that hails from Chicago, Eisenbergs Gourmet Hot Dogs! I found them to be the very best tasting I have ever had!

The problem with nathans Hot Dogs is they really have to be had at Nathans in Coney Island. No other nathans is as good. This one is the Original! Then it,s up to Steves on the Boardwalk for little necks and cherrystone clams on the half shell!

On a hot saturday or Sunday afternoon, the bikinis are beautiful up there! Gotta love Coney Island!

Tahiti is roughly halfway between Australia and Los Angeles... sure you don't want to pop over here for some fresh Lansing supplies before returning home?

Mrs. Gadget loves those islands...here she is trying to make it difficult for me to drag her back home.
