    Room Correction

Does any budy know if Harman is going to ofer such a divice soon
On Dr. Floyd last white papper he mentions that harman is on its way with Mark Levinson and Lexicon and Revel. Jbl has been doing it with the synthesis for a time with the Sdec digital EQ but its not really a comsumer product it has to be instaled buy a technitian. and it is for home theather .

on the market there is Tact audio, Deqx, sigtech disapeared, Meridian, Lake and some oders.
I was thinking in tact but the company seems to be in a mes and the softwaer has been repoted to have many errors.

any information on harman i think that if its soon i rather wait

I have been using the DEQX system for a few months. When used correctly it can make a huge improvement in a system's performance. It can also make a real mess of things. I suppose as you gain more control there are more things you can screw up.

I have found it a great tool for those who are more hands on. If you are not fairly knowledgeable about audio and acoustics, or can not have a professional come in and set it up, tools with this level of flexibility and control are probably best avoided. With DEQX in particular, there are many "Auto" features... I have heard both good and not so good results when systems are set up using the "Auto" modes. Conversely when I get in there and use it to manually dial in my system I am blown away with it's transparency and ability to make important corrections.

    Harman owns British BSS www.bss.co.uk
I'm using the 366T for myself and I have used them in several advanced stereo systems and home theatre systems. Very very hard not to use when you have tried them.

    All cool.

But, I'm gonna reposition this under "Off Topic" since it's not about transducers, per se. No harm, no foul...
