    woofer air volume for 250Ti

    I need the internal air volume required for the woofer only as I am building new boxes for my existing 250Ti's. Making 3 boxes--woofer only, lower mid only,mid & tweeter only. Pete

    - That information does already exist here , somewhere .
    - If I remember correctly the woofers "net" working volume ( not air ) was just over 4 cu ft .

    - The fellow who posted it ( Giskard ), no longer posts here. Meaning, I think you'll need to test out your searching capabilities using this sites' builtin search engine.

    Good Luck ! ( Okay, I relented )

    EDIT #1 : Here's some pertinent info

    "two 2.75" ID ports each having an 8.375" duct"

    The port/duct on the 240Ti and 250Ti is 4.125" ID x 5.25".
    The 240Ti is spec'd at 3.5 cubic feet and the 250Ti is spec'd at 4.2 cubic feet.

    Using the old JBL tuning formula Fb comes up as ~ 35 Hz for the 240Ti, ~ 32 Hz for the 250Ti (actual spec was 28 Hz), ~ 26 Hz for the M9500 lower volume, and ~ 32 Hz for the M9500 upper volume. These mathematical tunings don't take into account any system losses.

    Anyway... yet another case for tuning your own DIY boxes (complete with their own personal loses) for yourself.
    EDIT #2 : Here's the info you are after
    Giskard ( in reply to Gerard )

    104H = 80 cubic inches

    108H = 0.25 cubic feet

    LE14H-1 = 4.2 cubic feet
