    Nice

If I remember right you could actually order the Tik's from the factory in different colors like red and yellow and so on.

Just added two weeks ago, 4412L, 4412R. Set up in nearfield enviornment, Sansui AU-7700 integrated amp & Integra (Onkyo) CD/DVD player... Wowser!
More critical as to electronics used & recordings played than the 4310's and 4410's but on an excellent CD, clean & fast.
Soundstage (vs 4410's) is wider, not quite as "tall", as predicted.

Since I'm "cleaning out" some less-used JBLs, I thought I'd make a list before the collection goes to friends and family far and wide. There are no JBL amps, crossovers, spare drivers, etc., included in the list; that would be too much work. However, all speakers, including auto and multimedia, are included.

Each item represents one pair, unless otherwise noted. Dates are actual or best guess of manufacture of each speaker or pair.

    1. L100 Century (Set A, with original straight line drivers and my first new JBLs, 1970)
    2. L100 Century (set B, a mint pair with straight line drivers bought two years ago)
    3. L3 (L Series, 1993)
    4. L5 (L Series, 1994)
    5. L7 (L Series, 1995, Set A)
    6. L7 (L Series, 1994, Set B)
    7. L7 (L Series, 1994, Set C)
    8. L7 (L Series, 1993, single spare)
    9. SVA1800 (SVA Series, 1999, Set A)
    10. SVA1800 (SVA Series, 1999, Set B)
    11. SVA2100 (SVA Series, 1998)
    12. SVA Center (SVA Series, 1997, single)
    13. SVA Center (SVA Series, 2001, bought NIB last year)
    14. LX300 (LX Series, 1993)
    15. Sat10 (2 fronts, 2 sides, 1 center from JBL Simply Cinema, 1994)
    16. Music10 Sub (Simply Cinema)
    17. EON 10 (JBL Pro G2, 2004)
    18. EON 15 (JBL Pro G2, part of E-System15, 2007)
    19. PT800 (Performance Series, 2000-2007, six pairs in Black Ash)
    20. PT800 (Performance Series, 2000-2007, two pairs in Cherry)
    21. PC600 (Performance Series, 2000-2007, three in Black Ash
    22. PS1400 Subwoofer (Performance Series, 2000-2007, four in Black Ash)
    23. HTPS400 Subwoofer (Performance Series, 1999-2007, three in Black Ash)
    24. CSS200 THX Subwoofer (1993-1994, Manufactured for FA with JBL LE120H-1 drivers, three in black pebble)
    25. FS400 THX Subwoofer (1993, Manufactured for FA with JBL LE14H-1 drivers, two in black pebble)

    31. GT963 (JBL GT Series, 1995)
    32. JBL Creature II (JBL MUltimedia, 2006)

If you sold the whole "collection" you could probably get enough to pay for the professional help you obviously need.

    So what are you keeping?

    Professional help........

    Titanium Dude (er, ah.... Dome),

you need counseling. Talk to a professional.

Just admit it....... You're a JBL addict.

    I am, however, very impressed.

And I thought I had too many speakers.

Anyone need a pair of 2360 horns ? I really don't need 6 of them and I'm cleaning out the garage.

Might be buying a new house.

You too, buy a new house and order a six-pack of Everest II's to go with it. Just roll them up into the mortgage.

My problem is--okay ONE of my problems is-- that I have several locations where I want to have JBL-quality sound. I can't afford that many Everest IIs, plus I can't wait forever to get them.

At the current time, I might be able to move to 1400 Arrays or Revel Ultima2 Salons. That'd be about it, plus keep at least six or seven other systems. Before I can do that, I have to get rid of some stuff. If I buy the "next" set of speakers first, I'll never get around to thinning the JBL herd. I'll end up adding them on like I always do.

Are you taking suggestions on what to get rid of? Taking applications for good homes for your babies? I think you have far too many PT800s, and that B380/BX63 is just collecting dust.

Dome, you might hv seen the 1400 arrays and 880 center on our OC CL being offered for $7.8K

    http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/ele/878455107.html

I think I saw these being offered a few months back with better pics (stated anaheim at the time)

gotta figure many go caught overextending themselves in real estate and goodies to go inside, now looking to offload. don't see much synthesis stuff come up often, especially at 40% of MSRP.....though the arrays are the prettiest thing in the world

    (no affil)
