Amadeo....One thing about a FULL horn system. The dynamic wave fronts will peel the green off your teeth & dust the crabs off your balls. No Ti system will do that.

THEN use the 4430's for your Left and right front speakers ( of course with an added 2235 sub on each side [ crossed over at 100]and also a 2404 [ crossed at 8000 or so)
looks something like this ( alittle tacky looking but works great). Incredible for movies
The SVA's are nice ,but if that is the extent of your working/listening knowledge of compression drivers, wait until you hear some 435Be. drivers mounted on 2397 smithhorns!, they will really TIK you off . It would be difficult to judge the entire Chevrolet line of cars ,if all you ever drove was a Chevette and not a CORVETTE. I am from the school of thought that if a person likes something, good for them, I'm happy that you are in love with your TIK's, I respect that too, BUT, They are no match for a REAL set of compression driver equipped models, IMO.Originally Posted by amadeo

To each their own. It's ALL good.
Now what exactly have we learned from this thread again?
Get "Horney" for JBL? Time to take the test.

You are right that there's a big difference in the driver itself: a soft dome in the SVA and Ti (Yes! Ti!) in the 4430 and 4435. Believe me when I say I've thought about putting Ti in the SVA horns, but there's all the actual mental work required to do it right, and I'm, well, you know, busy.
