One of the many great things on this forum is the wealth of smilies we have to choose from. Yet, with all this plenty, I, of course, want more.

So a few questions.

1) Where do the smilies come from? Are most of them from a standard PHP set?

2) Are some of them custom designed? It seems the obvious answer is yes. If so, who does the work?

3) If we wanted to request/suggest/supply additional smilies, how would we do that?

4) Also, I suppose it should be asked: Do some of us think there are too many smilies already?

I don't know but they are a useful thing to have.

Maybe one of our propellor heads can answer that one.

I stole the smilies from various sources on the web. Just do a Google search for smilies and you'll find thousands. If you find a smilie you want to add, just post it in a thread on this forum and I'll add it.
