    Need a 605A crossover schematic!

have a pair of 605A's, original crossovers, but the one speaker has no HF output, i'm pretty sure its somewhere in the xover, can anyone help me find a schematic as thhere is a 4 mfd cap, a 20 ohm a 5 ohm resistor and two other small metal boxes i am assuming are caps too?

    Hello,

Did you ever fix your 605s? If not, I suggest the following plan:

    1) switch crossovers from one driver to the other to see if problem is driver or crossover.

    2) If it is the crossover try to rotate/clean the potentiometer. These things seem to fail every 20 years or so.

A place to check for more altec info is the altec users group. I usually search Todd White Altec users group on google and find it. Another person to google is Jeff Markwart and altec 605 together. He has developed some new crossovers for the 605 and 604.
