    Oldest living C-33's

I've had these for about ten years now and actually have never thought of replacing them.I run them with 65 wpc of beam power tube juice and the neighbors actually don't mind! They differ slightly in color and have the early multicell horns on 175 drivers. All drivers are origional to these cabinets except for one HF diaphragm that was beat up before i bought the pair for $200 from a local Salvation Army store! They are really amazing when doing the home theater thing with a good DVD.When I see all the poor unenlightened marveling at the home theater B/S at the local Best Buy I just feel bad for them!!!!They will never know real "HOME THEATER". The Magnavox on the top of the rack is connected to one of the speakers when i want to do a little broadcast band DX.to date have regularly heard WSM and lots of midwestern stations here in N.Y.There is a Bogen DS-265 behind an end table across the room that runs them.Nice amp,All tube and 65 w rms per channel too. The Magnavox four 6L6 amp is nice lookin though!
